Highly Recommended

The studio manager of a well-known Pasadena artist recommended Fine Line Picture Framing to me in 2011. The proprietor, Paul Grybow, is an award-winning multi-media artist, with some of his work hanging in his shop and available for purchase. I recently bought 2 of his pieces, an acrylic painting of bamboo and a sculptural one made with pins. As an artist himself, this skill set is invaluable in assisting clients like me to select the properly proportioned frame, mat and type of glass for each job. Paul has framed for me everything from fine art, sports memorabilia, photos and stained glass. He also offers professional installation services in his clients’ homes. This Place Has It All!

Paul at Fine Line Picture Framing is the real deal. Located next to the non-profit Project Hope Alliance, Paul's top of the line framing is second to none. I needed to get my diploma framed along with a few other items. He took time to explain the process to me and really let me take the time to choose the perfect frame. It was really exciting when Paul let me help assemble the frame. He has so many unique designs that it can be, at times, overwhelming, but with his guidance you will find the perfect frame. A huge plus is wandering around the shop looking at all the amazing art. From sculptures to pictures this place has it all!

Very Satisfied

I have known Paul at Fine Line Picture Framing for many years. He has framed all of my fine art. I have always been very satisfied. I recently retired and decided to frame my military memorabilia. Magnificent Job!

I have entrusted to Mr. Grybow and Fine Line Picture Framing many of my most valuable pieces. He has always done an excellent job of preserving and framing them. In addition, because Mr. Grybow is also an artist in his own right, he has been excellent in helping me to choose just the right combination of matting and framing—from the thousands and thousands of possibilities—to really enhance my pieces.Even though I moved from Orange County to San Diego several years ago, I still drive more than 100 miles to Fine Line Picture Framing to have all of my conservation framing done there.

Turned Out Better Than I Envisioned

When my wife and I had our 50’ Spanish oak tree cut down, we decided to leave the bottom 16’ still in the ground so that it could be carved into a totem pole. We commissioned Paul to do the job and were very pleased with the end result. It turned out even better than I had envisioned, especially now that the carved wood is weathering and looking more authentic each day.

Impressive!

It was only recently that I felt the need to leave something for my family that indicated what I did in the service. My personal, very small piece of history, the best solution for me was to dust off my medals and awards and have them mounted. I talked with Paul Grybow and gave him only the order of the medals to be mounted leaving the rest to him. The finished product is a work of art. I didn’t realize how impressive it would look and how good I felt about the piece when I finally displayed it in our home.
